A young Indian- American man brings his boyfriend home to West Virginia, and through his boyfriend's eyes discovers a new understanding of the grandfather he'd despised. Set partly at the Hare Krishna commune near Moundsville, this short story - which was selected by Madison Smartt Bell for the prize anthology New Stories from the South - examines the complicated dynamics among three generations of an Indian immigrant family in West Virginia.
